Brent's Canmore Wake Party - Dec 11, 2004
On Canmore, Alberta, Canada on Dec 11, 2004, a wake was held for Brent. With karaoke, cake, drink, good memories and friends & family - the night was the party Brent always wanted!
Brent's seems to have his own alter now - I'm sure he would have been thrilled! The honey pot where Brent's ashes are resting and other memory items.
Anyone have any good stories (or photos) of the night they can share? If so - email Duane with them.
Erika with 'mock up' of place where climbers put their name at the top of a moutain Cairn - I think it has a special name? Erika co-ordinated the decoration of the hall, and the events of the evening - she did a fabulous job, and deserves a big thank you.

This cake was made in honour of Brent. It has many of the things he loved - mountains, forest, rivers and lakes, snow, etc.

Coming soon: another gathering in Ontario and in Alberta will be organised in February/March once Brent's nephew arrives (was due Dec 8 but still not here as of Dec 16), Duane (Brent's brother) & Isabel (Duane's lover) can make it over from the UK (after Brent's nephew get a passport!)
