In Feb. 2002, Brent fell off his bike and broke his arm (had a plate and 6 screws attached to the bone) - so he was out of commission for climbing for a while - but he could still party!

He was also working with Integral Designs where he was field testing fabrics and new products, sewing up products, etc. Not bad for someone with one arm (and a good reflection of the values of the company who would find a way to continue a one-armed climber!)

He also took some computer and photography courses to expand his skill-sets in to offer alternatives to climbing.

By June 22, his cast was off but he was still recovering. Here he is celebrating his Birthday on June 22 with an Ice Cream Cake from Julie Hurst and others.
