In 2001, Brent led an expedition down 'Low's Gully' - sometimes called the 'Everest of Descents' - on Mt Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia (on the Island of Borneo). But he also seemed to get up to a lot more!

To check out stories and photos of the 'Low's Gully' expedition Brent led, see: www.webexpeditions.net/kinabalu and his photo gallery of the trip.

Climbing on Yam (Assistant Rock Guide Exam, 2001)

Chris Millar: "I had the pleasure of meeting Brent on the ACMG Rock Courses. I was one of his instructor/examiners but more importantly a friend. Brent was a strong candidate and a pleasure to be with. He was extremely conscientious and it was obvious that he was gong to be a talented and resourceful guide."
